I’ll be on “The John Phillips Show” today at 1pm on 790-KABC
We’ll likely talk about the latest negative consequence of having Eric Garcetti as mayor of Los Angeles; a $1.8mm sexual harassment settlement because he was too amused and titillated by his aide Rick Jacobs’ alleged serial abuses to protect others subjected to them.
And let’s be honest: This $1.8mm settlement cost LA taxpayers — at least — a million dollars more to litigate before the settlement.
Giggling Garcetti was repeatedly accused of being amused by Jacobs’ antics (surely, he was too sharp to have missed them, right?), which raises the question of whether he experienced the same teasing and torment growing up in the bubble of privileged suburbia.
“The John Phillips Show,” with Randy Wang begins at 12pm on 790-KABC. I’ll be on at 1pm. If you’re tied up, catch it later on the show’s podcast.
